Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 June 2026

1. What Evidara provides

Evidara is a business management platform that helps small and medium enterprises record sales, manage expenses, track customer debts, generate invoices, manage inventory, handle bookings, and view business performance.

Evidara is a software tool, not an accounting firm, financial advisor, or legal service. The information displayed within the app is based solely on the data you enter. Nothing in Evidara constitutes financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. You remain responsible for your own financial decisions and compliance with applicable laws.

Evidara does not guarantee funding, credit approval, or lender acceptance. Generating a business activity report means you have prepared your internal records, not that a bank, government registry, KYB provider, or payment provider has verified or approved them. Business profile details are self-declared unless separately verified by an approved provider in a future reviewed release.

Evidara records payment information for bookkeeping. It does not process merchant customer payments, hold balances, provide payouts, or act as an acquirer, wallet, payment facilitator, or merchant of record. Stripe is used for Evidara subscription billing, which is separate from the merchant's business recording currency.

2. Who can use Evidara

By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are using Evidara for a legitimate business purpose. Evidara is intended for business use, not personal consumer use.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your login details secure and do not share your password with others.

3. Your responsibilities

Accurate data entry

Evidara only shows what you put in. You are responsible for entering accurate and truthful information — sales figures, customer details, debt records, inventory counts, and all other business data. Evidara is not liable for decisions made on the basis of data you have entered incorrectly.

Legal and tax compliance

You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and tax obligations in your country or region. This includes but is not limited to VAT or income tax reporting, data protection laws covering the customer information you store, and any licensing or regulatory requirements for your type of business.

Evidara provides record-keeping tools. We do not file taxes on your behalf or ensure that your records meet any particular legal standard.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Evidara to:

  • Store or process data for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the platform
  • Resell or sublicense access to Evidara
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data at scale

4. Free plan, paid plans, and billing

Free plan

Every new account starts on our Free plan. No payment card is required. The Free plan is offered indefinitely subject to these terms and to fair-use limits that we may adjust from time to time. Current Free plan limits include up to 50 sales per month, up to 20 inventory items, and up to 5 active debts.

Paid plans

You may upgrade at any time to one of the following plans:

  • Starter: $12.00 USD per month, or $99.00 USD per year (annual billing saves $45 versus paying monthly)
  • Growth: $29.00 USD per month, or $249.00 USD per year (annual billing saves $99 versus paying monthly)
  • Business: $79.00 USD per month, or $699.00 USD per year (annual billing saves $249 versus paying monthly)
  • Enterprise: custom pricing for chains, cooperatives, and institutions — contact us for a quote

Current pricing is always listed on our pricing page. Customers on grandfathered legacy plans continue at the price originally agreed at signup; we will not raise that price without notice.

Billing and auto-renewal

Your subscription auto-renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Payment is processed by Stripe and charged to the card you provide at sign-up.

You authorise Evidara to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for your chosen plan. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your account settings.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time and your account will revert to the Free plan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain paid access until then. We do not offer automatic refunds for unused time on a billing period that has already started. If you believe you are owed a refund, please contact us at legal@evidara.org and we will review your request.

Price changes

We may change our pricing. If we do, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance by email. Continuing to use the service after a price change takes effect means you accept the new pricing.

5. Your data

All business data you enter into Evidara — sales, customers, debts, invoices, inventory — belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership of it.

By using Evidara, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You can export your data or delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

6. Data uploads and proof documents

Evidara lets you upload documents and images as proof — for example receipts, EcoCash or OneMoney confirmations, bank deposit slips, supplier invoices, delivery notes, or photographs of paperwork. You are responsible for the content you upload and for making sure you have the right to upload and store it inside Evidara.

You agree not to upload material that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, contains malware, or that you do not have permission to store. We may remove uploads that we reasonably believe breach these terms or applicable law, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.

Reports generated from your data (such as business health or trust reports) are based solely on what you have entered or uploaded. You are responsible for the accuracy of the underlying records and for how you share any reports with third parties such as lenders, suppliers, or partners.

7. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these terms
  • Use Evidara for illegal purposes
  • Fail to pay for a paid subscription you have signed up for
  • Attempt to harm the platform or other users

We will normally attempt to contact you before taking action unless the violation requires immediate suspension for security or legal reasons.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting legal@evidara.org.

You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting support. Some records may be retained temporarily where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax and accounting, dispute resolution, or audit reasons.

8. Limitation of liability

Evidara is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet every specific business requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Evidara and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the platform — including but not limited to lost profits, lost customers, or business decisions made based on data shown in the app.

Our total liability for any claim related to Evidara is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to the service

We may modify, update, or discontinue features of Evidara at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept them.

If we discontinue Evidara entirely, we will give at least 60 days' notice and provide tools for you to export your data.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app.

Continued use of Evidara after updated terms are posted means you accept the changes.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Zimbabwe. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Zimbabwe, unless another jurisdiction is required by applicable consumer protection law in your location.
